AI image generation technology is used at scale to create non-consensual intimate imagery (NCII), including embedding real persons faces into pornographic content and generating realistic but fake intimate photos. Victims face severe psychological harm, reputational damage, and social pressure. AI technology makes such imagery extremely low-barrier, fast to produce, and amenable to mass automated production.
