About ARKO
Methodology
ARKO (AI Risk Knowledge Open) treats the "risk scenario" as its smallest unit of knowledge: each scenario describes one concrete, recognizable pattern of AI risk, annotated with its risk category (RS) and subcategory (T), severity, lifecycle stages, source roles, affected stakeholders, applicable system types and industries. Each scenario is mapped to corresponding entries in major international frameworks (ISO 23894, NIST AI RMF, OWASP LLM, MITRE ATLAS and others) and closes with actionable controls and implementation steps.
The lifecycle follows eight stages: inception, design & development, verification, deployment, operation & monitoring, continuous validation, re-evaluation, and retirement. This is a practical editorial arrangement, not a verbatim rendering of any standard.
